This original adaptation of Aesop’s Fable recounts the story of Jamie, who is given the important task of guarding the sheep. Instead of taking his job seriously, he plays a trick on the villagers, a plan which backfires, endangering the flock and raising the ire of the Snipple twins and the rest of the village. Filled with lively songs and memorable characters, this musical teaches an important lesson about honesty and responsibility. This rollicking production, and the lesson plan for teachers and parents, addresses key parts of the core curriculum in history, language arts, reading, and the arts.
